Lisa Wade

Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist

I completed my training at The Clifton Practice, one of the leading hypnotherapy centres in the South West where I gained a Diploma in Hypnotherapy (DHP).

I am a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapists (NCH) and a committee member of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapists (AfSFH). As a member of these associations I adhere to a strict code of ethics. The HPD is a nationally recognised qualification at level 4 on the National Qualifications Framework; this is an endorsement of the quality, amount and level of learning.

About me

I have always had an empathy for people’s problems and an interest in finding solutions. My clients come from all walks of life and bring a wide variety of problems to which we find the solutions together through therapy.

My personality is that of a caring and positive person who naturally has the ability to pass on enthusiasm when needed and also simply listen with the added ability to see each person as the individual they are and therefore structure sessions based on the clients needs.

I started life with chronic asthma and ventured in and out of hospitals through childhood and learned that what can be a limitation does not have to be a disadvantage. Being fortunate enough to be brought up by both caring parents and an elder sister in a very secure homely environment in Hounslow has enabled me to have a solid foundation to fall back on when “the carpet has been pulled from under my feet”.

The loss of close family members, relationship breakdown, weight and confidence issues has lead me to the person I am today. Wanting to make people realise there is that brighter side to life, IT IS there but maybe we just need a little help finding it.
